It all started by taking a Food Science class in high school. The cooking and creation of food peaked my interest. I joined a vocational Culinary and Baking program in my senior year and began to compete at the regional, then state level. I started to think that I maybe good at this whole cooking thing. I decided to pursue a career in the food industry, finished culinary school and earned a degree in Foodservice Administration. Over the past 13 years, I’ve worked in many facets of the food industry; from fine dining restaurants, test kitchens, and flavor labs. I’m currently a student at Kansas State University pursuing a Food Science degree while working and developing recipes. I love to share my passion and curiosity for food and welcome you to Research Kitchen. I hope you find inspiration and the joy that cooking can bring!
